Awwww, the refreshing smell of Spring around the corner. Who doesn’t love the smell of fresh flowers, the smell of rain in the air, and when the grass has been freshly cut. We have to remember to take the time to smell all the wonderful things around us. Stopping to reflect on all things in our life, whether good or bad, we must stop to reflect. This allows for the brain to slow down, the heart to relax and our body to become one with our environment. Learning to do this is easy, we just have to stop and do it. Allowing ourselves to stop, reflect and enjoy the little things gives us the necessary recharging needed to navigate throughout the day.
So, what will you do today to recharge your mind, body and soul? I think for me, I will close my eyes and slowly breathe in and out on the count of five. Let’s try it, breath in ( 1 2 3 4 5) and now breath out (1 2 3 4 5), do this a couple of times throughout the day because it releases endorphins in the body that feels great. I hope you feel recharged as I do now.
